LAMC 2017-2018 EVENTS

Summer Camp

During our “Community Helpers” themed week of summer camp, we had a visit from Mr. and Mrs. Tilli from the West Bloomfield Police Department. The campers learned about the different jobs people do in the department and how they help in the community. Campers were able to see the different types of equipment used by the police and were able to experience what it is like to be inside a police car.

Thank you to Mr. and Mrs. Tilli for coming out and sharing their experiences with us.

KG and Elem Field Trip to The Bee's Knees

It was a beautiful Spring morning when some of our LAMC parents came together as a community to help prepare and plant with the children. Each child took turns to plant some flowers around the school grounds and in our peace garden, located in the back of our school. With the help of the parent volunteers and staff, we were able to fill our grounds with colorful flowers. I encourage you to stop by and admire the hard work our students, staff, and parents put in to plant all of the beautiful flowers.
