Summer Camp Program
Lakes Area Montessori Summer Camp begins on Monday, June 17 through July 31 , 2024. We will be offering a Toddler, Pre-school, and Kindergarten camp, as well as our 4-weeks Elementary Enrichment Program.
- Our Toddler Montessori PLAYGROUND for Young Learners is
offered to children ages 18 months through three years (no toilet training required) and is open to all current and future students of our Toddler Community Classroom. Our summer program offers
Montessori skill building activities and will consist of small and large motor activities, outdoor and indoor play, circle time, and crafts. All campers will engage in a variety of enriching
activities designed to expand their vocabulary, sharpen concentration, and foster independence.
- The Pre-School, Kindergarten, and Elementary Camp is
offered to children ages three (potty trained) through nine years of age. The program will offer Montessori skill building activities. In addition, weekly theme will enhance the program and include
Tropical Rainforst, Cooking & Nutrition, Lego Masterpiece, Music to My Ears, Sports & Yoga, STEM into Science and More. We will have special visitors who will
be sharing fun and learning experiences related to our themes.
- The Elementary Enrichment Program will be offered to all LAMC and perspective students entering first grade (in the fall of 2024) through fifth grade. This is a four-weeks camp; it begins June 16 and ends July 12. The staff will include your favorite elementary teachers who are excited to work with students to keep reading and math skills strong. In addition, we will have fun with a special and different summer camp theme each week. Themes include Art with the Artist, STEM Activities, Legos, Sports and Outdoor Games, Music and Rhythem Makers. After this four-weeks camp, campers are welcome to join the Pre-school & Kindergarten Program which also accommodates campers up to 9 years of age.
Our own Montessori Directresses and staff will be working together with the campers throughout the summer of 2024. We would love to have your child join us for these exciting Summer
